Pella Shipyard Completes Trials on Four New Vessels for Russian Navy

Project 16609 Belukha Completed


The sea part of the official state acceptance trials of the special purpose tugboat «Belukha» of project 16609 (building No 629) that is building under the order Main Administration of the deep water investigations of the Ministry of Defense successful.

During this year the tugboat will be delivered to the State Customer and put into operation within the Baltic Fleet Navy.
Assignment: The tugboat is intended for towing and berthing operations in harbor and coastal areas which comply with R2 navigation area (not more than 100 miles from place of shelter), performing of escort operations at the speed of 10 knots, refloating of ships and vessels, fire fighting operations at floating and shore objects, oil and petroleum content products, cargo transportation, ice breaking and rescue and special purpose operations as well.

Project 03160 For Black Sea Fleet Completes Trials

Pella

The regular serial high speed patrol boat of project 03160 “Raptor” building No 703 of Manufacturing programme of 2014 built under the Contract with Russian Navy has launched for passing its yard sea trials
Before the end of this year the boat will be delivered to the order port– Novorossiysk and put into operation within the Black Sea Fleet.
The boat is intended to perform the following operations at day-time and at night:

the transportation of group of at least 20 persons providing the highest possible embarkation and debarkation;
duties in assigned areas;
intercept and arrest of small targets;
rescue of people in areas of duty.
Navigation area – coastal areas, straits, estuaries standing off a place of shelter within 100 miles.

Open JSC “Pella” has concluded the Contract with the Federal Security Service of Russia for the construction and delivery of 2 boats of project “Baklan”

According to the Contract the boats will be constructed and delivered to the State Customer in 2015 for the operation in Krasnoyarsk and Volgograd regions.

The boat is intended for the duly travels, special purpose operations, search-and-rescue, transportation of the staff, passengers and different cargo, cruising.

The tugboat “RB-407” (Building No 626, project 16609) has started its sea trials
