Then, the next day, Saturday, Oct 11th , about 1030 we intend to cruise to Tacoma’s Foss Waterway public dock in the 500 block of Dock Street East to disembark riders prior to heading for our winter mooring at the Tyee Marina, east of Tacoma. Riders are welcome! There is no charge for either event but donation$ are cherished and greatly appreciated. The voyage is one way, however, so make your own arrangements back or take public express bus to Seattle and the Seattle-Bremerton ferry back to the Bremerton Marina.

Last day to EXPLORE COMANCHE in Bremerton for 2014 is Friday, October 10 from 1000 to 1700. The ship will be open for our South Puget Sound supporters to explore the ship Saturday afternoon in Tacoma in the early to mid-afternoon at Foss Waterway. Eta Tacoma is sometime in the mid-afternoon… we take our time with no set schedule. Ships phone Saturday, Oct 11th is (253) 227-9678. Comanche will be at the Rock the Dock public dock on the Foss Waterway a couple of hours for lunch.Riders should be aboard Saturday Oct 11th by 1000. Dress for the weather. Bring your own eats and drinks (alcohol ok) All riders must sign a “hold harmless” before riding on the ship. Bring your cameras! Lawn chairs welcome. No pets. Comanche is not handicap accessible.
